Ben (He/Him) is a passionate builder and teacher. Coming from a background in art and sculpture, he began his building career 6 years ago doing strawbale and other natural building out in Utah. He is now based out of Asheville with his own small construction company focused on sustainable and natural materials – From the Dirt Design/Build.
Ben is passionate about teaching and helping others build skills. He believes learning building can help people see the built environment as changeable and be more able to create the world they want to see. Ben wants every student to come away not just with new skills, but with an understanding of how to think like a builder.
