Lily Harlin

Lily (she/they) is an artist, creator, and dreamer. Since a very young age, she has been immersed in the natural world and draws heavy inspiration from the wild. Though her medium changes frequently, Lily’s art and expression always incorporates an element of the organic and unpredictable. Lily met Barron Brown through an Earthskills event in 2011, and spent the majority of her teenage years working with him and learning how to build. When she was 14 years old, Lily built her first tiny house in Barnardsvile , NC. Since then she has had her hands in the construction of dozens of tiny homes in in area. Lily grew up in the Earthskills community from the time she was eight years old, so having the opportunity to grow and give back in so many ways has been incredibly fulfilling. Lily focuses on beautiful and functional builds, and believes that having a hand in the creation of your dwelling can be the thing that makes it truly feel like home. No matter where she ends up, these values and group of people will always hold a special place in her heart.
