Jenny Kimmel (she/her) was raised by the land in Rockingham County, NC, and now calls the mountains of Appalachia home. With over two decades of experience in regenerative design and land-based education, she brings a grounded approach to ecological installation. Jenny is the founder of Sow Permaculture, a woman-owned design and build company focused on resilient landscapes and relational design.
A lover of solitude, old things, poems, and song, she is also the singer-songwriter behind Walking Medicine, a folk music project exploring the relationship between land, self, and the shared breath of the community of being. She’s excited to be nesting—and rooting—more fully in Appalachia while collaborating with the Wild Abundance community.
