Living Skills Immersion
March 18-27
Permaculture taught through ancestral skills.
We will explore a wealth of subjects, including Permaculture design in the Wild, Homesteading skills, Primitive skills, Wildfoods foraging and cookery, Functional Communication, Fire building and tending, Compassionate and optional farm animal slaughter and wasteless butchering, Firewood selection and splitting, Cooking on fire, and much, much more.
Lead instructors are Natalie Bogwalker www.fireflygathering.org, Zev Friedman www.livingsystemsdesign.net, guest instructors include Juliet Blankespoor www.chestnutherbs.com, Chuck Marsh www.usefulplants.org, David Brown, and other inspired and experienced instructors.

Registration includes instruction, materials, camping and amazing food.
The vast majority of the food will be organic, most will be local and a lot will be wild. Most meals will include the option of compassionately killed meat.

Traditional Living Skills
Topics will include a focus on hand tools, technique, safety, maintenance, and choosing of knives, hatchets, axes, and saws; as well as fire building, bow-drill friction fire, knots and tarp shelters, and cordage (rope) making from natural materials.

Are you interested in learning about the basics of what to look for in land to buy, living off grid, and growing, building, harvesting and preserving food. Taught from a permacultural homesteading perspective. Camping and food provided.

Wild Abundance believes that these skills should be accessible to as many as possible. We therefore offer a sliding scale providing low and flexible pricing. If you consider yourself very low income please pay the minimum required price. If you feel secure in your financial situation please place yourself in the sliding scale accordingly.
