Anne Knoflicek

Anne Knoflicek (she/her) is a long time transplant to Western North Carolina, and has been living a simple life in connection to the earth, rooted within vibrant community relations, and in honor of that which sustains life. She got her start in building while living at Earthaven Ecovillage in her twenties, learning both natural building techniques and conventional carpentry, and continued to grow these skills over the years picking up odd jobs, participating in community work parties, and building her own tiny house (with plenty of help – it takes a village!). She is also a chef and creator of kitchen alchemy, cooking food for large gatherings and catering small events. She is passionate about local food and bringing people together over a delicious meal, as well as cultivating a life of rich inner contemplation and growth.
