From Berea, Kentucky, Levi (they/he) has been an avid builder professionally for the past four years. Initially as a framer for Jade Mountain Builders, then as a site lead for Little Coop Design Build, and now currently as owner/operator of Meadowlark Carpentry, a boutique custom carpentry company in Asheville.
They are enamoured with the empowerment that lies within building of every sort, and it is a privilege they revere to help break down the barriers that gate keep the world of construction from everyone outside it. It is their goal that every student leaves believing that the measure of a builder is not in the years of experience under their belt, but in the courage it takes to apply oneself earnestly and humbly, and to trust in their ability to solve unforeseen challenges with delight.
